I have worked as a social worker for over a decade in this province and have strong training and experience in one on one and group counselling. I have a sincere passion in seeing my clients thrive and develop skills and strategies for tackling the big and the small obstacles we all experience as human beings.
I have an expertise in helping with trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, grief, and coping with diverse neurodevelopmental issues. I also offer support to clients working through significant life changes or in navigating complex social settings.
I centre my practice from a person-centered approach, meeting my clients where they are at in their life story and working from there. I utilize a framework of theories such as cognitive behavioural therapy and solution-focused therapy, and I always practice with a trauma informed and anti-oppressive approach into my work.
If this sounds like I would be a good fit to meet your counselling needs, please reach out to me at bradrichardsrsw@protonmail.com
